Are you ready to rock the beat?

Hey all you bloggers out there, my name is Allie I am a 21 year old senior at Towson University and as my first assignment for my Journalism 2 course I'm here to introduce you to my new 'beat' blog...and this time, it's all about DANCE.
I've been dancing since I was a little girl, and in the recent years I have been introduced to some great people, and some great dancing! I hope to highlight different kinds of dance, from swing, to hip-hop dance crews and I hope that you will all enjoy the people and dances you will be exposed to through this site.
Generally I plan to tell you stories about interesting dancers, or interesting situations.
I've never written on a 'beat' before, so this is all really new to me, so any comments or advice is welcomed with open arms.
